Lil’Bit Better

Just over 6 years ago, my husband and I decided to try our hand at beekeeping and we started our first hive down on Phillip Island, here in Victoria. 

We were not expecting to fall so head over heels in love with bees and also unexpected was learning just how much impact these little creatures have on our food chain and ecosystem. 

This new hobby led to a much greater understanding of ecology and our effect on it; we had to make some changes in our lives.
Then it hit me. If everyone made a 'little bit' of a change, the overall effect would be enormous and.... Boom! Lil’Bit was born.
